AIL Mining recently secured an order for two smaller Bolt-A-Plate structures (similar to the one pictured here) to serve as manway/vent shafts at a Quebec mine site in the far North.
Components shipped by sea
The project was under such a tight timeline that we quickly designed the structure based on a simple design and drawing. We then produced the Bolt-A-Plate in our Ayr, Ontario, facility in under four weeks — just in time to make the scheduled sailing out of Montreal.
All parties — sales, engineering, purchasing and manufacturing — were involved to make sure the delivery could be achieved. The product made it to the dock in time and is currently en route to Northern Quebec — ready to make structures similar to the one shown here.
Bolt-A-Plate is ideal for medium and small applications
For a strong, effective solution for less demanding projects, Bolt-A-Plate Structural Steel Plate is the product of choice for its light weight, strength and versatility. It is available in a wide variety of shapes and sizes, making it perfect for many different applications in the mining sector.
